She didn’t mean James Potter.

She meant Severus Snape.

(first quote: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Chapter Two: A Peck of Owls; second quote: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Chapter Thirty-Three: The Prince’s Tale)

Holy crap. I didn’t even realize this. Brava for J.K. Rowling’s perfect continuity.

And all this time I was assuming ‘that awful boy’ was James. I owe him an apology.

OMFG! Brava! Bra-va!

Oh God she meant SNAPE. wow.

perfect author is perfect

All bow down to JK Rowling.

“My best guess is that he will indeed stand time’s test; and wind up on a shelf where only the best are kept; I think Harry will take his place with Alice, Huck, Frodo and Dorothy, and this is one series not just for the decade, but for the ages.”  -Stephen King

“What the bloody hell are you doing here?”
“Charming. Do you always attack people who knock on your door?”
“You didn’t answer my question. And you know perfectly well that I’m still mad at you.”
“Oh, come on, Evans. You know I can still make you laugh.”
“Nope, no you can’t.”

In honor of the final Harry Potter movie, I did a tribute to Harry and his parents. It shows two scenes, from the first and last books. The Mirror of Erised, and the Forest Again. Like most everyone else, I find the actors to be way too old for the parents, so I used Karen Gillan from Doctor Who, and Aaron Johnson, to play Lily and James.
